Along with manual Cp assignment, WinTess also has capability to assign Cp values automatically. Although using wind tunnel tests, CFD analysis etc. is the way of preferred method to obtain Cp values, WinTess’ automatic Cp assignment method provides an easy approximated way of analyzing in the absence of wind tunnel test or CFD analysis.
In case automatic Cp is used, WinTess dynamically changes Cp values at every iteration as per the deflection of surface under wind loads. So, WinTess strives to use correct Cp at all times in connection with automatic Cp.
