This menu allows you to create a pattern using only two geodesic lines.

Therefore, it is a very fast method to generate patterns, but is only valid for those cases in which the perimeter of the membrane does not include other points, because this method does not consider them.

If we observe the figure on the left you can see how the patterns located between the geodetic 4-3, 3-2, 1-5, and 5-6 protrude from the perimeter, while the pattern is located between the geodetic 1-2 falls short, because you are missing the tips of the ends.

In contrast, in the membrane figure on the right, which is very large, patterns made directly on the geodesic lines are perfectly valid. Thus, the user must apply the criteria to see if this way of generating patterns is valid or not for your case.
